Heather Taylor, the Boss Lady and Social Media Chick behind GlitterGirl Media, proudly rocks her role as Executive Director of CLEO. Fueled by a love of small businesses grow and succeed, Heather makes every effort to bring an electric energy to everything she does. She’s all about helping businesses turn up the volume on their success, blending smart strategy, bold creativity, and a little glitz along the way. Whether she’s leading CLEO with heart and hustle, cranking out high-impact marketing, or championing her fellow women in business, Heather believes that with the right support—and the right playlist—there’s nothing you can’t achieve. 🎸✨

Missy McWhorter

Vice President

Vice President of the board Missy McWhorter is an incredibly passionate and driven professional, dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and fostering business growth. With her extensive experience as Executive Director of the Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, she’s clearly made a strong impact in her community. Her enthusiasm for networking and meeting people from outside her usual circle is a great sign that she values collaboration and innovation.  Her passion is connecting business professionals to help them grow their business and contribute to the communities.

As a dedicated real estate professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for connecting people, Tina brings a strong foundation in organization, communication, and strategic planning to every role she undertakes. Over the years, she’s honed her ability to manage complex transactions, coordinate schedules, and maintain clear documentation—all critical skills that seamlessly translate into her role as Secretary of  CLEO. 

Her work in real estate has allowed her to build relationships across diverse communities, giving Tina a deep appreciation for collaboration and the power of shared knowledge. As Secretary, she’s committed to ensuring transparent communication, accurate record-keeping, and the smooth coordination of board initiatives. She believes in fostering an environment where women support one another’s growth, and she is proud to contribute.

Just for Fun:  In my spare time I enjoy playing the Penny slot machines at MGM Northfield Casino, and trying new wineries with my husband and 25 year old triplets (Emma, Patrick and maria)!

Treasurer

Diane Martin, owner of Direct Marketing Solutions, LLC, loves helping businesses stand out with creative print and direct mail. As CLEO’s new Treasurer, she’s excited to meet, collaborate, and make a positive impact across the CLEO community.

Connie Perney

Director of Membership

Connie Perney spent 20 years in the corporate world as a call center and project management expert before discovering her entrepreneurial spirit working with small businesses. She became an independent wine consultant after attending a friend’s wine tasting and now enjoys educating and helping others discover the world of wine. Connie is honored to support CLEO’s mission as a board member and is passionate about creating spaces where women connect, grow, and lead.

Outside of work, she loves going to concerts with her husband of 35 years, spending time with their three grown daughters, and coaching middle and high school volleyball—a passion she’s enjoyed for nearly 30 years.

Denise Kotz

Director of Events

Denise Kotz, Marketing Executive at Melaleuca, brings her passion for wellness and people to CLEO as Director of Events. Through her work offering safe, eco-friendly products for the home, Denise is dedicated to helping families live healthier lives. She’s excited to apply her talent for creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences to elevate CLEO’s events and member engagement. Denise looks forward to strengthening the CLEO community and making every event impactful and inspiring.

Jamie Moeller, owner and founder of JMedia and Nettl of Cuyahoga Falls, brings a lifetime of marketing expertise to CLEO as Director of Marketing. With a passion for creative strategy and a proven track record of helping businesses thrive, Jamie is dedicated to elevating the CLEO brand and driving growth. Her deep knowledge of marketing, branding, and business development makes her a vital part of our leadership team. As a web developer she looks forward to maintaining the CLEO website.  Jamie’s vision and energy are helping to shape a vibrant future for CLEO and all those we serve.

Just for Fun: Outside the office you’ll find me traveling or spending time with my husband in our RV visiting area state parks, wineries, breweries and one of our favorite events, Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Martina Yurish

Director of Philanthropy

Martina Yurish, Executive Director of Camella Living in Copley, brings many years of philanthropic experience to CLEO as Director of Philanthropy. With her inspiration for helping various causes in the community, Martina will afford opportunities for her fellow CLEO members to connect to organizations currently making a difference. Her compassion and drive to have impact makes her a valuable addition to our leadership team. Martina looks forward to bringing awareness to social causes. Her vision is growing CLEO to have impact while also developing a scholarship program to help young women going directly into the trades.

Mary Beth Handschumacher, co-owner of Brimlow Benefits Agency in Stow, brings 22 years of insurance expertise to CLEO as an At-Large board member. She is passionate about helping members, small businesses, and sole proprietors protect their families, businesses, and assets. Mary Beth is excited to serve alongside an inspiring board and help grow CLEO’s network of professional women. She looks forward to making meaningful new connections within the community.
